Mario Aguirre has been CEO/President of United Credit Union since 2015. Under his leadership the credit union has grown to become Chicago’s largest credit union, with an asset size of just under $300 million and 20,000 members. The driving force behind United CU’s impressive growth has been the strong focus on serving people in low-income communities that have historically been locked out of the financial system. United CU is a community development financial institution (CDFI) and has proudly received several important designations – including Minority Depository Institution (MDI), Low Income Designated (LID), and has recently been honored to receive the Juntos Avanzamos designation (Together We Advance).

Outside of serving in many different capacities within the CU movement, Mario has served on the Board of Directors for various local civic and business organizations. He has coached competitive baseball and soccer for over 20 years.

Sheila Tedesco

Sheila Tedesco is a highly experienced executive with more than 35 years of management experience in the Automotive Remarketing industry. Sheila joined the industry in 1989. She has worked for Lobel Financial in Anaheim, CA for the majority of her career. She established the Remarketing department for the Company. Over the years, she has built the foundation, structure and created long term relationships. She has developed and implemented strategies that impact and optimize processes and results. Sheila attributes her success to her visionary ideas, leadership and motivational approach. Sheila manages the Remarketing and Transportation departments at Lobel Financial.

Sheila is Co-Founder and Co-Chair for GROW-Global Remarketing Opportunities for Women. An organization to help empower women in AutoRemarketing. Sheila is also on the Board of Directors for the ARA. Sheila was honored to be voted in as a member of the “Women in Remarketing” in 2017. Sheila has also participated in numerous panels at the CAR Conferences and the AIS/NRC Conference.
